Hi! My name is Katie Zwiers and I am the owner/planner of Kathryn D. Events. I am so happy you found my site and would be honored to have the opportunity to work with you. Let me tell you a little about myself and how I got into the event industry.

I have always loved planning parties for my friends and family. I would plan dinner parties around Christmas time for my friends, birthday parties, baby and bridal showers, and then organizing annual camping trips and other outings. In college I discovered the Hospitality and Tourism Management program and knew it was where I needed to be. Three internships and many many classes later I graduated with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism management, emphasis in event planning.  I found a job at a local special event rental company and am now working to build my own business. I am loving the challenges and opportunities that are coming my way and look forward to what the future holds for me.
