Teenage Makeup Lessons...

Lately I've had some inquiries regarding parents wanting to get their teenage daughters makeup lessons.  In my books, any parent who is thinking of doing this is beyond smart!  Here's why:

1) Makeup lessons will give these girls great base knowledge on how to apply 'age appropriate' makeup
2) In the makeup lessons I provide, I also include proper skin care techniques, which will help reduce adolescent problem skin, such as acne occurance.
3) Choosing the right skin care and cosmetic products for a teenage girl will help prevent premature aging of the skin as they enter their 20's, 30's, 40's and even 50's.

I only wish that this sort of thing would have been available to me when I was a teenager!!
The picture along with this post is makeup done on a 14 year old girl. I wanted to show that it is possible to look beautiful without heavy makeup, and I definitely think this picture speaks for itself :)

Wow, it has been WAY too long since I've posted on my blog...sorry folks!  I haven't stopped doing makeup, but did cut back on my bookings as I had a very sick family member last year.  Things are better now however, so I'm ready to take on 2012!  I can't wait to start making ladies look and feel great about themselves again. 
The highlight of 2011 for me was working with a very talented photographer named Stephanie Fieldberg.  Her work is AMAZING.
